En esta ocasión, Jorge presentó una de sus últimas investigaciones, denominada “Meta-analytic Examination of Product and Digital Piracy: Should you Scare the Customer”. Esta investigación habla de: The manuscript tests a model that explains the effects of perceived risk on product and digital piracy behaviors. Manuscript findings show that perceived risk affects piracy intentions and behaviors directly and indirectly. The indirect effect of perceived risk operates through complex mediation processes involving individual ethics perceptions, behavioral control, attitudes towards piracy, and intentions. The proposed model is examined with data derived from effect sizes (correlations) obtained from over 140 studies. Model relationships were tested with a structural model that uses meta-analytic correlations.
